Role:
PART TIME HOST/HOSTESS NEEDED APPROXIMATELY 20-24 HOURS WEEKLY, MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS AND EVENING SHIFTS 4PM 8PM

As a Host in the Accommodation and Food Services industry, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the flow of guests, ensuring they are greeted warmly and seated efficiently. You will also be responsible for maintaining the organization of the dining area, which is essential for providing a seamless dining experience. By effectively communicating with both guests and staff, you will help to facilitate a positive environment that encourages repeat visits. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute significantly to the overall satisfaction and enjoyment of our guests.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with reservation systems and point-of-sale software. Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests upon arrival and manage the seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience. Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times to guests accurately. Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area and host station.
