Manager Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service. Your excellent communication skills and dedication to customer service will help create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times. Provide accurate wait time estimates and assist guests in making informed seating choices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area as well as the entrance of the restaurant. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner to enhance guest relations. Assist with other duties as needed to support restaurant operations. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems, such as MICROS POS, is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
