Host Bar Rosso 28 Spring Street, Stamford, CT 06901 Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements, all while providing exceptional customer service. Must be willing to work holidays, weekends, etc. Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables. Manage the reservation system and ensure efficient seating arrangements. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations. Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods, ensuring timely seating for guests. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills. Uphold cleanliness and organization at the host station and dining area. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred required. Strong phone etiquette skills to communicate effectively with guests over the phone. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, OpenTable and Tripleseat is a plus. Excellent guest services skills to enhance guest relations and satisfaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for providing outstanding hospitality in a restaurant.
