Host Ohsake Bar & Grill 4349 North State Road 7, Lauderdale Lakes, FL 33319 Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette and assist with inquiries. Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host area. Handle guest relations effectively, addressing any concerns or requests. Skills Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff. Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred. Knowledge of POS systems is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with a passion for hospitality and guest services.
