This position is responsible for welcoming and seating guests with warmth and professionalism, managing reservations, and supporting the dining team to ensure smooth service and an exceptional atmosphere. Essential Functions and Key Tasks:
Cascade a spirit of Hospitality in all interactions with residents, colleagues, and guests. Greet all guests warmly and promptly upon arrival; assist with seating and maintaining flow of the dining room. Manage reservation lists and wait times professionally and efficiently. Engage with residents and guests in a friendly and attentive manner to enhance the overall dining experience. Answer questions regarding dining services, menu options, and daily specials. Communicate with servers, culinary staff, and leadership to coordinate service and address guest needs. Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness before, during, and after meal periods. Support setup and breakdown of service periods, including folding napkins, setting tables, and stocking host stations. Assist with light cleaning duties such as wiping down surfaces, organizing menus, and resetting tables. Provide excellent customer service by being approachable, responsive, and consistently professional. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Work Environment:
The Host/ Guest Experience Ambassador operates in a fast-paced dining environment and may occasionally assist in kitchen or service areas. The role requires regular interaction with residents and colleagues and may involve light exposure to kitchen equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. The employee must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds. Standing and walking for extended periods is required. This position also requires manual dexterity, clear communication skills, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
