Your Passion:
Your passion should include being a welcoming Host/Hostess while providing our guests with the first and last positive impression of The Grill. Your courteous attitude, personality, and genuine sense of hospitality will set the tone for their entire dining experience. The host/hostess is responsible for controlling the flow and timing of the guest seating process.

Convinced a relationship with Jesus changes everything in a person’s life Committed to keeping your family as your first ministry Dedicated in your personal study of God’s Word Consistently placing a high priority on worship and your personal prayer life An excellent and generous steward of your personal finances Obedient to God to take a Sabbath and make space for soul-keeping Deeply compassionate towards people who are in need or hurting Excited about global missions and local outreach – you want to change the world A part of a healthy friendship community and accountability circle Willing to give up personal pleasures and freedoms in order to live a life above reproach and that is aligned with our Leadership Covenant You will: Be required to complete all necessary training as provided by management/trainers Welcome and seat the guests Provide our guests with the first positive impression of The Grill Control the flow and timing of the guest seating process Operate Open table on an IPad Take and input reservation information Answer questions regarding our menu, restaurant information, church and catering information Clear and maintain dining room as needed Perform opening and closing duties Be Safe Staff Certified Display flexibility and good time management skills You have: Great guest services representation The ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be on your feet for extended periods of time Excellent verbal communication skills The gift of hospitality and service A teamwork mentality Comfortability with an Apple IOS system A strong work ethic to set an example for children A background in food and beverage services (encouraged but not required) You are required to know: We are an EEO employer. You may have to bend, sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, lift, pull, and/or move up to 45 pounds This is a part-time (20 hours/week) hourly non-exempt position. You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.

Work Schedule:
Staff culture is important to what we do. To love like family, we require all staff to attend all staff meetings, department meetings and serve with a willing heart especially at all major campus events. This is a requirement for all Food Services staff to work Easter, Mother’s Day, Kids Conf, YE, Back to School Preview Day, Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
