Hostess/Busser Java and Jam 301 East Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience. As a Host/Busser, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing the waitlist, and assisting with table service to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, communicating wait times to guests. Assist servers by clearing tables, refilling drinks, and delivering food as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables for new guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns with professionalism. Support the overall hospitality efforts of the restaurant by helping wherever needed. Requirements Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
