In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus. Manage the flow of guests in the restaurant by coordinating seating arrangements. Handle reservations and ensure timely seating for all guests. Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods and communicate wait times effectively to guests. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items and reservation availability. Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area. Provide exceptional guest services that align with our hospitality standards. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with guest services and hospitality principles is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience using Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus but not mandatory. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are key attributes for success in this role.
