The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for guest services in the restaurant industry. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, ensuring smooth seating flow. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to enhance guest relations. Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences. Assist in answering phone calls, providing information, and taking reservations as needed. Experience Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with restaurant operations and food service standards is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to help create a positive environment for guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
