Your responsibilities will include ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Responsibilities Table Maintenance and Turnover Clearing tables : Remove dirty dishes, glassware, utensils, and napkins quickly and efficiently after guests finish eating. Resetting tables : Wipe down and sanitize the table and chairs and ensure any condiments or centerpieces are tidy and full. Assisting with rapid table turnover : Work closely with the host/hostess and servers to prepare tables for new guests quickly, especially during busy periods. 2. Dining Room Cleanliness Maintaining floor cleanliness : Sweep up crumbs, wipe spills, and keep the dining area neat. Refilling stations : Ensure that water stations, bread baskets, and condiments are fully stocked and clean. Restroom checks : Occasionally help monitor the cleanliness of guest restrooms (varies by restaurant). 3. Guest Assistance Water service : Pour and refill water glasses as needed. Clearing finished plates : Politely and promptly remove plates as guests finish meals, especially in multi-course dining. Assisting servers : Support waitstaff by delivering bread, butter, or pre-meal items and refilling beverages. Requirements Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
