Host Serenity Jax Beach 1396 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and maintaining the flow of service in our restaurant. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times to guests. Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations. Assist with phone etiquette by taking reservations and answering questions about the menu and services. Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, to manage guest orders and payments accurately. Foster positive guest relations through effective communication and hospitality skills. Experience Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations. Familiarity with restaurant operations and POS systems is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor. A passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a restaurant setting.
