Position Summary:
The C House is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Front of House team members to join our casual upscale dining experience. We’re hiring Hosts, Barbacks, and Expos who take pride in creating a welcoming and seamless dining experience for our guests. Each position plays a critical role in the flow of service, guest satisfaction, and the overall success of the restaurant.
Positions & Key Responsibilities:
Host/Hostess Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism. Manage reservations and waitlists using our table management system. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the host stand and entrance area. Communicate wait times accurately and efficiently. Provide menus and ensure a smooth handoff to the server. Barback Support bartenders by restocking liquor, mixers, glassware, and supplies. Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout service. Assist in basic prep work (cutting garnishes, filling ice bins, etc.). Retrieve and clear glassware and help reset the bar during peak times. Comply with all health and safety standards. Expo (Expeditor) Serve as the liaison between kitchen and servers to ensure food is delivered correctly and promptly. Check each dish for presentation and accuracy before it leaves the kitchen. Maintain knowledge of all menu items and modifications. Coordinate timing and ensure table orders come out together. Help organize and manage the pass during busy service periods.
General Requirements:
Positive attitude and professional demeanor. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively. Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
