Opportunity available to cross train and learn other positions such as serving or bartending. Must Have; Display Good Morals, be Honest, and work with integrity. Display strong communication skills working with management team, FOH team, and BOH Team. Weekend & Evening Availability Ability to multitask and work hands on throughout the duration of the shift. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly welcome. Manage the seating chart and efficiently seat guests according to their preferences and availability. Handle reservations and waitlists using the Aloha POS system or similar software. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow. Assist with guest inquiries, providing information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Help resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Support the restaurant team during busy periods by assisting with additional tasks as needed. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is highly desirable. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software is a plus. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrated phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries over the phone. A positive attitude and willingness to help create an enjoyable dining experience for all guests.
