Hostess/Cashier Sogna Napoli Trattoria & Pizzeria 12913 N Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33618 Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage guest relations effectively in a fast-paced environment. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize guest flow. Handle cash and process transactions accurately using the POS system. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area and dining space. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience. Uphold high standards of hospitality to create memorable experiences for guests. Experience Previous experience in customer service, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting, is preferred. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. A genuine desire to help others and provide excellent guest services.
