Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating process. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of the restaurant and enhancing customer satisfaction through excellent service. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and inviting demeanor. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Communicate wait times clearly and manage guest expectations effectively. Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Utilize POS systems to manage reservations and orders as necessary. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Excellent phone etiquette for managing reservations and guest inquiries. Ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members. A positive attitude, willingness to help, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
