The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and ensure they feel welcomed. Manage reservations and seating arrangements using the POS system. Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences. Assist in managing the flow of guests during busy periods to maintain an efficient dining experience. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu options and making reservations as needed. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area. Help resolve any guest issues or concerns promptly and courteously. Requirements Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential qualities for this role. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
