The average host shift is 5 hours long (4:30pm to 9:30pm). This position pays $10 per hour and an average of $8 in tips per hour

• (total average of $18 per hour).

Could be a little more, could be a little less.

Job duties include:

• greeting and seating guests
• answering the phone
• making reservations via the phone and reservation app (Ipad)
• placing pickup orders via the phone and point-of-sale system
• accepting delivery and pickup orders via the point-of-sale system & delivery tablet
• communicate with the kitchen about pacing pickup orders and delivery orders
• packaging and double-checking pickup & delivery orders
• resetting tables with fresh linen and setups
• refilling water, tea, coffee
• checking upcoming reservations and floorplans via the reservation app (Ipad)
• turning off or limiting reservations via the reservations app (Ipad)
• checking the cleanliness and supplies in each restroom throughout the shift
