As a Counter Person, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their inquiries, and completing sales transactions. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of the retail counter.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner as they approach the retail counter. Assist customers with product inquiries, provide recommendations, and help them make purchasing decisions. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and operating the point of sale (POS) system. Maintain knowledge of the products and services offered in the retail shop to effectively address customer questions and provide information. Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the retail counter area. Keep track of inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the retail shop. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the retail shop’s policies, promotions, and special offers. Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to provide customers with accurate and relevant information.

Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
