Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your main responsibility will be to greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and assist with various tasks to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Duties:

• Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Manage the reservation system and ensure accurate seating arrangements
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area
• Answer phone calls and provide information or take reservations
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
• Collaborate with the team to create a positive atmosphere for guests

Experience:

• Previous experience in guest services or customer service is preferred
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices
• Knowledge of Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
