The Casino Host or Hostess plays an important role in drivingincremental casino revenue by ensuring that customers are beingcared for and providing courteous, professional, and promptservice. You will develop relationships with every level ofgambler, from first-timers to high-profile players. The Casino Hostor Hostess is one of the most visible and accessible of all casinoemployees, and requires an individual that possesses strongbusiness sense and the ability to make difficult decisions or referthem to the Casino Manager.

Career snapshot:

• Welcomes passengers to the casino, describing briefly theservices available and clarifies some of the rules and regulationsof the casino, while establishing and maintaining a welcomingenvironment for guests
• Identifies valuable players and informs the Casino Management,Cashiers, and Slot Technicians
• Makes the casino promotion announcements both on the ship’sgeneral PA system and within the casino
• Organizes sports betting, including event research and on boardmarketing, and casino tournaments (Blackjack, Roulette, SlotMachines, etc.)
