In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of service in our restaurant. A passion for hospitality and exceptional customer service is essential to thrive in this position. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Assist with guest inquiries, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed. Uphold cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area. Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns or feedback effectively. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
