This role is key to setting the tone for the guest experience, ensuring all visitors are greeted promptly, seated efficiently, and informed of available services. Hosts are also responsible for coordinating day pass check-ins, managing guest flow, and communicating preferences or special needs to relevant team members.

What You’ll Do:

Essential Responsibilities:

Welcome all arriving guests with warmth and professionalism Verify day pass reservations, hotel guest status, and external partnerships at the host stand Assign seating in the pool and beach areas based on availability, reservations, and guest preferences Provide clear orientation on available services (towel policy, F&B menu, restroom locations, etc.) Coordinate with pool attendants, beach attendants, and servers to ensure seamless handoff and follow-up Maintain accurate logs of guest check-ins, seat assignments, and service notes Handle special requests such as VIP setups, birthdays, or mobility accommodations Communicate with management when availability is low or overcapacity occurs Maintain the cleanliness and visual order of the host station and guest entry points Stay informed about hotel events, promotions, and services to share with guests Support the team during peak times, including helping with towel distribution or minor setup tasks if needed

What We’re Looking For:

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Confidence in managing guest flow and multitasking in a fast-paced, outdoor environment Strong attention to detail and guest preferences Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays Professional appearance and upbeat, welcoming attitude Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure Experience in hospitality, customer service, or outdoor hosting preferred Fluency in English required; Spanish is a plus

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods in outdoor conditions Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs Comfortable walking across sand, pool deck, and various surfaces
