Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
• Take and relay accurate food and drink orders to the kitchen staff
• Ensure timely delivery of orders and coordinate with the kitchen staff
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy
• Collaborate with other restaurant staff to provide excellent guest service

Experience:

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment
