The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for greeting customers, managing reservations, and processing payments efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements. Manage reservations and waitlists effectively to optimize guest flow. Process customer orders accurately using the Aloha POS system. Handle cash and credit transactions with precision while ensuring compliance with company policies. Address guest inquiries and provide assistance in a courteous manner, enhancing overall guest relations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area to create a welcoming environment. Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless communication and service delivery. Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when answering calls or taking reservations. Experience Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and help resolve any guest issues promptly. A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for guests is highly valued.
