Job Description:
Welcome patrons, seat them at tables (inside or outside), answer the phone, and help ensure the quality of the facilities and service.
Job Tasks:
Greet guests and seat them at tables. Provide guests with menus. Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seatings. Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries. Take to-go orders. Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup. Receive and record patrons’ dining reservations. Other duties as assigned.
