This role is crucial for ensuring our fleet of vehicles is always in top condition, ready for guests, and providing an exceptional experience for our renters. Responsibilities As a Turo Co-Host focusing on maintenance and operations, your primary duties will include, but are not limited to: Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles (interior and exterior) between every Turo trip, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness standards. Inspect vehicles for any damage, wear and tear, or missing items before and after each trip. Refuel vehicles to the required level. Ensure all necessary documents (registration, insurance) are present in the vehicle. Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, etc.). Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance and repairs with trusted mechanics or service centers. Manage minor repairs and cosmetic touch-ups as needed (e.g., tire pressure, wiper fluid top-off). Keep accurate records of all maintenance performed. Assist with vehicle pick-up and drop-off coordination with guests, including delivering and retrieving vehicles at various locations (e.g., airports, specific addresses). Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting vehicle condition and fuel levels with photos and notes. Address guest inquiries related to vehicle operation or minor issues during trips. Monitor vehicle GPS and telematics for mileage and location tracking (if applicable). Keep track of cleaning supplies, car care products, and essential vehicle items. Procure supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Maintain clear and timely communication with the primary host regarding vehicle status, guest feedback, and any issues. Communicate professionally and courteously with Turo guests.

Qualifications Experience :

Proven experience in vehicle detailing, automotive maintenance, or a similar field is highly preferred. Familiarity with the Turo platform as a guest or host is a plus.

Skills & Abilities:

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness. Strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple vehicle turnovers efficiently. Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively. Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills are a significant asset. Proficient with smartphone apps for photos, communication, and Turo platform usage.

Requirements :

Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Access to a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from vehicle locations. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on trip schedules. Comfortable with physical tasks such as bending, lifting (e.g., luggage, detailing equipment), and prolonged standing. Background check may be required.
