This role is crucial in providing exceptional guest services and enhancing the overall dining experience. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage the reservation system and maintain an accurate waitlist. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth operations. Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies. Monitor dining room activity to optimize seating efficiency and guest satisfaction. Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring positive guest relations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
