Host Totoya Sush Lounge Orlando, FL 32810 Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to multitask effectively. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Assist with phone etiquette by taking reservations and answering guest questions over the phone. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall guest experience. Skills Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus. Strong guest relations skills, ensuring a positive interaction with every customer. Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and non-verbal, to engage effectively with guests and team members. Background in hospitality or food service is preferred, enhancing understanding of restaurant operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong customer service orientation, demonstrating a commitment to providing an outstanding dining experience.
