Host/Hostess ootoya sushi Orlando, FL 32801 Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for greeting and seating them in a welcoming manner. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage reservations efficiently. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus. Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover. Assist guests with reservations and accommodate special requests. Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism. Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to manage orders and reservations. Uphold high standards of guest relations and hospitality at all times. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; experience with Aloha POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations. Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for food service and hospitality that enhances the guest experience.
