As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your hospitality skills and ability to communicate effectively will help set the tone for the visit, making guests feel valued and appreciated. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using the Aloha POS system. Maintain an organized waitlist during peak hours, ensuring timely seating for all guests. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Foster positive guest relations by engaging with patrons and ensuring their needs are met. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong phone etiquette skills for handling reservations and inquiries. Proficient in using Reservation Platforms (RESY & Open Table), POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest relations. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for helping others and creating memorable experiences for guests. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
