Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant or hotel
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Assist guests with seating arrangements and special requests
• Take reservations over the phone or through online platforms
• Manage the waitlist and estimate wait times for guests
• Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
• Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Answer phone calls and provide information to guests
• Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service, guest relations, or hospitality is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to help others
• Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
