The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service from the moment they arrive. This role is crucial in creating a positive dining experience and requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times clearly to guests. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area. Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest information as needed. Skills Strong guest services skills, with an emphasis on hospitality and customer satisfaction. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries. Ability to build rapport with guests, enhancing their overall dining experience. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus but not required. Strong organizational skills to manage seating arrangements effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
