The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant or hotel setting. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, making it essential for creating a positive first impression for our guests. Duties Greet guests promptly upon arrival and provide them with a warm welcome. Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover while maintaining a smooth flow of service. Communicate with the kitchen and wait staff to coordinate guest seating and special requests. Handle reservations and walk-in guests effectively, ensuring all guests are attended to in a timely manner. Assist with guest inquiries, providing information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and promotional materials. Utilize Aloha POS system to manage reservations and track guest preferences when applicable. Collaborate with the team to enhance guest services and address any concerns or feedback promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in restaurant or hotel environments. Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, fostering a positive work environment. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others is essential for success in this role.
