Host/Host Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Escort guests to their designated tables and provide menus
• Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
• Manage the waiting list during peak hours
• Provide accurate wait times and communicate any delays to guests
• Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
• Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure smooth dining experience
• Help with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests
• Handle guest concerns in a professional manner

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
