The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and handling transactions efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests while maintaining high standards of customer service. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements. Manage reservations and walk-in guests using the POS system effectively. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring all payments are processed correctly. Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to enhance guest relations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including the host stand and dining space. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when answering calls related to reservations or guest inquiries. Qualifications Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems; Aloha POS experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members are essential for success in this role.
