Host Crabby’s Beachside of St. Augustine 361 A1a Beach Boulevard, Saint Augustine, FL 32080 Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of service and enhancing customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Utilize the Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest orders. Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls promptly and providing information about the restaurant services. Support other team members during busy periods to ensure timely service. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests.
