Host/Hostess Mimmos Ristorante Italiano Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459 Overview We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant. This role is crucial in managing guest relations and enhancing the overall dining experience. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating arrangements. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and dining area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Assist in coordinating special events or large parties as needed. Utilize RESY system for managing reservations and orders when necessary. Skills Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Previous experience in food service or hotel settings is preferred but not required. Proficient in managing guest relations, ensuring all guests feel valued and welcomed. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
