Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment, with a focus on providing exceptional guest service. The Host/Host will be responsible for managing the front-of-house operations, ensuring a seamless dining experience for all guests. This is an entry-level position, but we welcome candidates with hospitality experience or a passion for customer service.

Duties:

• Greet guests upon arrival and seat them in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manage the flow of guests in and out of the restaurant, ensuring that the dining area is always clean and well-maintained.
• Take reservations and manage the waiting list as needed.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure that orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any guest concerns or issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the front desk and waiting area.
• Utilize Aloha POS to manage orders, track guest preferences, and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management to ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Provide guest services, including answering questions and addressing any special requests or needs.
• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and valued, and that their experience exceeds their expectations.

Skills:

• Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment.
• Proficiency in using Toast POS.
• Strong customer service and hospitality skills.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Experience with guest services and relations.
• Knowledge of food service and hotel operations.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift light objects.
