As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your hospitality skills will shine as you manage reservations, greet guests, and assist with seating arrangements in our fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Manage the seating chart efficiently to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort. Assist guests with reservations and provide information about menu offerings and specials. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure seamless service. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information on wait times, menu items, and special events. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and promotional materials. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members. Excellent phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for providing outstanding guest services and creating memorable dining experiences.
