Job Description

Host – 7 Acre Bar N Grill Sedgwick Restaurant Group & Affiliated Restaurants Milton, GA 30004 Host – 7 Acre Bar N Grill Pays $10/hour to $15/hour plus Tips As a Restaurant Host at our esteemed establishment, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, ensuring that each guest receives a warm and personalized greeting upon arrival. Your role is crucial in setting the tone for a memorable dining experience, providing exceptional customer service, and efficiently managing reservations and seating arrangements. Key Responsibilities 1.

Guest Reception and Seating:

Greet guests warmly and courteously as they arrive. Escort guests to their assigned tables, presenting menus and providing brief introductions to the dining experience. Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover while maintaining a balanced flow of guests. 2.

Reservations Management:

Handle phone and online reservations promptly and accurately. Confirm reservations and communicate any special requests or dietary needs to the kitchen and serving staff. 3.

Customer Service:

Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency. Maintain a polite and positive demeanor even in high-pressure situations. Handle guest complaints or issues promptly, escalating to the manager when necessary. 4. Coordination with

Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations. Communicate effectively about any changes in guest seating or special requests. 5.

Ambiance and Cleanliness:

Maintain a tidy and welcoming entrance area, including the hostess stand. Monitor the overall appearance of the dining area, ensuring it remains clean and presentable. 6.

Administrative Duties:

Keep accurate records of reservations, guest preferences, and special occasions. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including updating seating charts and guest lists.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or customer service is a plus. Previous experience as a hostess or in a customer service role, preferably in a high-end restaurant. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with reservation management systems and basic computer skills.
