Host/Hostess Wagyu House 1042 Northside Drive NW, Atlanta, GA 30318 Job description Wagyu House plans to open a beautiful upscale rooftop restaurant that overlooks midtown Atlanta. Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet and seat guests promptly, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Efficiency:

Manage reservations and walk-ins, optimizing seating arrangements for maximum efficiency and guest satisfaction. Help to manage the wait-list during peak hours.

Communication:

Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Accommodate:

Handle guest inquiries and accommodate special requests with professionalism.

Cleanliness:

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host area.

Knowledgeable:

Provide guests with menus and inform them of any specials or promotions.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a host or similar role in an upscale dining environment preferred. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation platforms as well as Discord for communication purposes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting. Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture a plus. A professional, kempt appearance is preferred.
