In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Your primary focus will be on guest relations, ensuring that every visitor feels valued and attended to from the moment they arrive until they are seated. This position requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating arrangements efficiently. Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests. Assist in managing the flow of guests in the restaurant to ensure smooth operations. Provide information about menu items and restaurant policies to guests. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Utilize Aloha POS system for reservations and guest management as needed. Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Skills Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Experience in guest relations, ideally within a restaurant or hotel setting. Knowledge of food service practices and menu offerings is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on helping guests feel welcome. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
