The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role is essential in maintaining guest relations and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Greet guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Assist with guest inquiries, providing information about menu items and restaurant services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle phone calls with professionalism, addressing reservations and inquiries effectively. Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences. Help resolve any guest issues or complaints promptly to enhance their dining experience. Skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Previous experience in hotel or restaurant settings is preferred, with a focus on guest services. Familiarity with food service operations and customer service best practices. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries professionally. A positive attitude with a passion for helping others and creating memorable experiences for guests.
