Hostess/Busser R&R Terminal 26 Doyle St, Toccoa, GA 30577 Overview We are seeking a friendly and energetic Host/Busser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued as soon as they enter our establishment. Your responsibilities will include managing guest seating, assisting with table settings, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems. Assist servers by clearing tables promptly and resetting them for new guests. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping floors and organizing utensils. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting guests with reservations or questions about the menu. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. A passion for guest services and creating memorable dining experiences. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. This position will also have the opportunity to shadow/train for server position.
