In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Your primary responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and facilitating a smooth dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest services in a restaurant or hotel setting. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive at the restaurant. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service. Utilize Aloha POS system for managing guest check-ins and reservations. Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Help resolve any guest concerns or issues to ensure satisfaction. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall dining experience. Experience Previous experience in food service or guest services is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer relations. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally when taking reservations or answering inquiries.
