The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service to enhance the dining experience. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods and communicate wait times accurately to guests. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Assist with guest inquiries, ensuring exceptional guest relations throughout their visit. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Handle any guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary. Operate the POS system for reservations and seating management, ensuring accuracy in guest data entry. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.
