As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and assisting with seating arrangements in our restaurant. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus. Manage the seating chart to ensure efficient table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction. Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant. Assist guests with inquiries and help resolve any issues promptly to enhance their dining experience. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area. Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for managing reservations and guest information. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling customer inquiries professionally. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
