The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services. As a Host/Back-Server, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to throughout their dining experience. This is an entry level position. We are looking for the right candidate who could eventually cross- train as a server. This is not a seasonal position. Weekends are required. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart using Open Table. Take to go orders accurately using the Toast POS system. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service. Assist with other restaurant duties as needed, including setup and breakdown of dining areas. Run food and help servers . Pre-bus and reset tables Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective guest relations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services and satisfaction. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant schedule.
