The Boathouse Waterfront Hotel & Restaurant is seeking experienced hosts/hostesses!

Job Description/Summary:
This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, strong planning and problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay organized and multi-task in a very busy setting. Major responsibilities include ensuring guests are greeted immediately and guest needs are responded to quickly, properly booking the restaurant (using the Open Table System ) to maximize the number of guests received, and maintaining a consistent flow of guests’ orders to the kitchen while ensuring guests are satisfied.
Restaurant Operations:
Responsible for answering incoming telephone calls and reservation email correspondence; greeting/directing hotel guests/staff and/or the general public
Must be able to fulfill the following requirements: work under pressure, ability to multi-task, ability handle paperwork
Monitors and maintains acceptable guest turn times
Engaging in clear, consistent communications with leadership and restaurant staff on a frequent basis
Must know how to prioritize, delegate and respond in a timely fashion
Additional Responsibilities:
Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor
Must be able to be on feet for the entire length of shift
