Job Summary The Host or Hostess will offer exceptional guest service by focusing on the overall guest experience and ensuring that all who enter Jack Henry’s are welcomed in a timely manner and treated with a warm, respectful, and friendly disposition.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests as they enter the restaurant Assist guests with reservations and guiding them to their table Provide guests with accurate wait time estimates and direct them on where they can wait Offer menus and demonstrate a willingness to answer any initial questions they may have Optimize seating at different tables to ensure an even/fair workload for wait staff Answer phones and schedule reservations for large parties
Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Prior customer service experience in the hospitality industry Positive attitude and interpersonal skills Good communication skills and phone etiquette Flexibility when working alternating shifts Ability to stand for long periods of time
